Indian Women and daughters - pride of India.

Indian, Women, daughters, pride of India, dil zindagi, dil zindagi.com

Indian women had always proved that they can cross any limits and can fight against any odds when it comes to their nation.

They have actively contributed and are contributing towards the development of our nation in many ways. A report by McKinsey Global Institute has estimated that India could add $770 billion to its GDP by 2025, simply by giving equal opportunities to women.

Yet, the present contribution of women to the GDP remains at 18%. This percentage in itself means a lot compared to the previous time when they were not even given the opportunities.

There are many examples of Indian women and daughters who have made our nation proud in various fields.

"Kiran Bedi" the first women IPS officer of India, has proved that women are no less than men and can survive without men.

"Neerja Bhanot" who while saving the passengers in the Pan Am 3 flight which was hijacked by terrorists in a stopover in Karachi sacrificed her life.

Flight lieutenant "Gunjan Saxena" is known as the Kargil Girl.

In the field of athletics "Sania Mirza", "Saina Nehwal", "Mary Com", "Mirabai Chanu" broke all the hurdles that came their way they made their nation proud all over the world. "Indra Nooyi" is a self-made CEO of Pepsico, not many people know about her but everyone does know about the businessmen. The truth is our women and daughters too are actively contributing to the development of our nation.

It is rightly said that "Everyone talks about women when they are successful, but no one knows what it takes to reach there." Despite the gender inequality, the odd conditions, the bitter words of people, they have managed to reach the top.

Everyone talks about successful women but a successful woman was once an ordinary woman and no one knows her the struggle she went through.

The reason why I am talking about ordinary women and giving them the tag "The pride of India" is because they rightly deserve it, they are the true pride of our nation. In a nation, where once women were not even allowed to step out of their houses, now the daughters and women of that nation are getting opportunities to prove themself that they are no less than men may it be any field.

A recent study shows Women's turnout during India's parliamentary general elections was 65.63%, compared to 67.09% turnout for men, which is amazing, because there was a time when it was even half of the recent contribution.

With time and development in the thinking of the people, men too are becoming supportive and cooperative. And still, there is much more to be done.

A recent study shows At 17% of GDP, the economic contribution of Indian women is less than half the global average, and compares unfavorably to the 40% in China, for instance.

India could boost its growth by 1.5 percentage points to 9 percent per year if around 50% of women could join the workforce.

May it be any field athletics, army, navy, medicine, politics, Cooperate world, the education they are proving themselves, contributing in the development of our nation, breaking the old mentality of people that women are just meant to be at home.

Since the 90s it's said "Bharat Mata ki Jai" but no one ever thought why it is said so, but the daughters of our nation knowing this proved it.

With the advancement in thinking of people, the percentage of Indian women and daughters in various fields has increased.

There is no end to the examples but yes people with passing time have forgotten some of these famous names everyone only remembers the freedom fighters the male Prime Ministers, the male sportspersons the reason behind this is the importance.

We should instead of discouraging our daughters we should encourage them so that the contribution of Indian women in the development of our nation could increase and they would prove that they are the "Pride of our nation".

I am happy that I am actively contributing towards the development of my nation and for me working is my passion.
