If we try to compare remote working with working from the office, we'll see both have their own merits and demerits, it may be based on performance, time and there are several other factors.
Some of the people especially the experienced ones and working women, are satisfied with remote working, and the reason for this is time, they are now able to give their time to their family, kids which were earlier not possible as most of their time got spent in traveling.
Even, daily expenses of employees have been reduced to a large extent whether it may be travel expenses, food expenses, or room rents for those who stay away from their homes for their jobs. Also due to this remote working, a vast increase in the performance of employees is observed in the past 1.5 years, which was earlier not seen when they were working from the office.
But as I say, everything has some merits as well as demerits, same way remote working too has some demerits and one of them is that it had made the employees somewhat lazy.
Also, there is no fixed time earlier the working hours were fixed but now there is no fixed time, anytime the meetings can be called and employees have to attend it and in some situations, they may even work late night depending on the work requirements.
If I say about working from the office, especially the freshers may want to go for work from the office, as for them it is in itself a new experience, a new environment and they may be like waiting for offices to reopen and go to office experience the office environment, I am fresher so I can totally relate to this as I am also wanting to go to office work with my colleagues and experience that office environment.
At home, it sometimes, doesn't feel like we are working and also they are so many points of disturbance, there is even a loss of guidance although remotely seniors are trying to guide the freshers the guidance which we can receive while working from office has its own importance, and as a fresher lot of doubts arises up at any interval of time and many times in remote working they don't get resolved.
But if we see in case of security purpose, remote working is a good solution seeing the situation.
As a piece of good news for some and bad news for some, the IT industry is planning to bring their employees back to the office, in a planned way.
As most of the IT companies have got their 60-70% employees fully vaccinated and seeing the requirements they are planning to do so, especially in cases of data privacy and security where there is no chance of taking a risk.
It depends on person to person and on the company requirements whether they want to work remotely or from the office.
